Vendor Inspection Coordinator

Role Overview We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Vendor Inspection Coordinator to manage inspection activities at vendor and supplier facilities. You will plan and coordinate inspections, liaise with clients, vendors, and inspectors, and ensure that equipment and materials meet project specifications and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Receive and review inspection requests, RFIs, and purchase order requirements from clients Allocate and schedule inspectors based on availability, location, and technical competency Coordinate inspection activities with vendors, including notification of hold and witness points Coordinate with other Applus worldwide offices for arranging inspection Track inspection progress, vendor delivery schedules, and open items Review inspection reports, release notes, and certification documents for accuracy and completeness Maintain inspection records, timesheets, and project documentation Provide regular status updates and reports to clients and internal management Follow up on non-conformances and ensure timely close-out Ensure compliance with Applus procedures, client requirements, and applicable codes and standards Attend meetings with client Prepare and compile documents for invoicing

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field At least 5 years of experience in vendor inspection, expediting, quality coordination, or a similar role (oil and gas, power, or industrial sectors preferred) Familiarity with inspection and test plans (ITPs), purchase orders, and international codes and standards Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge in Aconex & Ariba is advantage Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Good written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage Employment Type Full-time
