Warehouse & Logistics Manager

We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead the complete warehouse operation for our perfume manufacturing and distribution business. The role is accountable for the accurate receipt, storage, control, movement, picking, packing, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, components, and finished goods. The ideal candidate will have strong practical expertise in SAP S/4HANA, warehouse management systems, advanced Excel, inventory controls, MIS reporting, and management dashboards. This position requires a proactive leader who can develop the team, establish robust systems, and continuously streamline end-to-end warehouse processes while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, service, and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of end-to-end warehouse operations, from material receipt, inspection, identification, and put-away through storage, picking, packing, staging, loading, and final dispatch
• Maintain accurate inventory control for raw materials, packaging materials, components, work-in-progress, and finished goods across all warehouse locations
• Use SAP S/4HANA hands-on for goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, production-related material movements, inventory adjustments, batch tracking, and reconciliation
• Ensure timely and accurate system transactions and resolve stock variances between physical inventory, SAP, and the warehouse management system
• Plan and conduct cycle counts, perpetual inventory checks, wall-to-wall stock counts, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to achieve high inventory accuracy
• Develop and maintain Excel-based inventory analyses, trackers, reconciliations, ageing reports, slow- and non-moving stock reports, capacity plans, and productivity reports
• Prepare accurate and timely MIS reports and management dashboards covering inventory accuracy, stock ageing, space utilization, order fulfilment, dispatch performance, damages, variances, productivity, and team performance
• Lead the setup, configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of the warehouse management system, including locations, bin structures, item masters, workflows, controls, and user discipline
• Standardize warehouse SOPs, process flows, documentation, control points, and performance measures to streamline the complete warehouse cycle
• Optimize warehouse layout, binning, material flow, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and storage capacity while maintaining FIFO/FEFO and batch-control requirements
• Coordinate closely with Procurement, Production, Quality, Planning, Sales, Finance, and Logistics to ensure material availability and on-time order fulfilment
• Ensure dispatch accuracy, complete documentation, vehicle readiness, shipment traceability, and effective coordination with transporters and logistics partners
• Lead, train, coach, and mentor warehouse supervisors and staff; set clear responsibilities, monitor performance, build accountability, and develop team capability
• Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, quality, hygiene, housekeeping, and regulatory requirements, particularly for flammable, chemical, fragile, or sensitive materials
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce errors, handling time, inventory losses, space constraints, process waste, and operating costs

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or a related discipline. Minimum 12 years of progressive warehouse experience, including substantial responsibility for managing warehouse operations and teams; experience in perfumes, cosmetics, or FMCG is preferred. Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in SAP S/4HANA warehouse and inventory transactions; exposure to SAP implementation, integration, testing, or process improvement is strongly preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP or equivalent lookup functions, logical formulas, data validation, charts, data analysis, and management reporting. Proven ability to create clear MIS reports, KPI scorecards, and management dashboards from operational and inventory data. Strong knowledge of inventory control for raw materials, packaging materials, components, batch-controlled items, and finished goods. Proven capability in establishing or improving a warehouse management system, warehouse layout, binning structure, SOPs, operational controls, and reporting routines. Strong understanding of receiving-to-dispatch processes, stock reconciliation, FIFO/FEFO, batch traceability, material handling, and warehouse documentation. Excellent leadership, communication, training, mentoring, planning, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills. A proactive, improvement-oriented mindset with the ability to work hands-on, manage multiple priorities, and deliver measurable improvements in accuracy, productivity, service, and cost. Experience handling flammable, chemical, or sensitive materials in line with applicable safety and quality requirements is an advantage. Employment Type Full-time
