Warranty Administrator

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Purpose: To ensure accurate, timely and compliant processing of warranty claims, maximizing warranty recovery while maintaining manufacturer's standards and supporting organizations profitability Key Responsibilities: Review repair orders for warranty eligibility Verify the accuracy and completeness of supporting warranty documents Coordinate with manufacturer for the prior approval as and when required Prepare the technical failure reports as per the OEM warranty format Prepare, submit and monitor warranty claims through manufacturer’s warranty portal Ensure the claims comply with OEM policy Follow up on return/rejected warranty claims and resubmit with necessary corrective actions. Maintain all warranty records for audit purposes. Ensure proper storage of warranty failed parts with proper tags on it Follow up payments/credit notes with manufacturer against the approved claims and keep all the financial records Review Warranty WIP job cards frequently and coordinate with workshop team to clear it in timebound manner Scrap the warranty parts as per the manufacturer guidelines Prepare warranty reports and submit to warranty manager Identify repeat /recuring complaints and report to manufacturer for corrective action. Coordinate with workshop supervisor/Technical team Desired Candidate Profile Minimum of 3 years of experience in warranty administration or a similar role, showcasing a proven track record of handling warranty claims effectively.. Experience in the automotive or electronics industries, providing relevant insights into specific warranty challenges and requirements.
