Wealth Management Platform Lead

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Wealth Management Platform Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the Bank s Wealth Management platform, ensuring stability, scalability, security, regulatory compliance, and continuous enhancement of the platform. The role requires a strong blend of Wealth Management domain expertise, technical leadership, stakeholder management, vendor governance, and delivery ownership across both Run-the-Bank (RTB) and Change-the-Bank (CTB) initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Skills Own and manage the Wealth Management platform roadmap, strategy, operational stability, and technology modernization initiatives. Act as the single point of accountability for platform availability, performance, security, and service quality. Possess strong functional knowledge of Wealth Management processes, including Portfolio Management, Investment Products, Advisory Services and Client Onboarding Lead all production support activities, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, root cause analysis, problem management, and service improvements. Drive platform enhancements, upgrades, regulatory changes, integrations, and new business initiatives. Work closely with Business, Operations, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams to deliver business outcomes. Define and monitor platform KPIs, SLAs, availability metrics, incident trends, and performance indicators. Establish strong vendor governance and ensure vendors are accountable for delivery quality, support effectiveness, and agreed service levels. Review and challenge solution designs to ensure they are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Lead platform upgrades, patching activities, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery testing, and technology refresh initiatives. Ensure all audit, compliance, risk, and regulatory observations are addressed within agreed timelines. Drive automation initiatives and operational efficiency improvements to reduce manual effort and improve reliability. Manage platform performance, capacity planning, and future scalability requirements. Provide regular platform health updates, project status reports, risk assessments, and executive-level communications. Build and lead high-performing support and delivery teams while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Technical Competencies Strong experience with Wealth Management platforms such as Avaloq, Temenos Wealth, or FNZ Strong understanding of Wealth Management application architecture and ecosystem integrations. Experience in API-based integrations, middleware technologies, enterprise integration patterns, and microservices architecture. Good understanding of Oracle/SQL databases, application servers, cloud technologies, and infrastructure concepts. Experience managing application security, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, release management, monitoring, and observability tools. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 12+ years of experience in Banking and Financial Services technology. Minimum 5 years of experience managing Wealth Management applications or platforms. Proven experience managing both production support (RTB) and transformation/delivery initiatives (CTB). Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders, technology teams, and vendors. Demonstrated experience managing critical banking platforms in a fast-paced environment. Strong ownership mindset with end-to-end accountability. Ability to challenge vendors and solution proposals constructively. Outcome-driven and customer-centric approach. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
