Web Development Lead (Data & AI)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities As a Web Development Lead in our Data & AI practice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative web solutions that leverage the latest in cloud and AI technologies. Technical Leadership & Architecture Lead and mentor a team of web developers (front end, back end, or full stack), fostering a culture of technical excellence. Define architecture, coding standards, and best practices to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable web solutions. Review and optimize code quality, design patterns, and application performance. Drive modernization initiatives by recommending and implementing new technologies. Web Development & Delivery Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications. Oversee end-to-end development including UI, backend services, APIs, and system integrations. Ensure compliance with security standards, accessibility guidelines, and performance benchmarks. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments. Project & Team Management Plan, estimate, and track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely delivery. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, QA, and DevOps teams. Conduct sprint planning, code reviews, and technical grooming to maintain high engineering standards. Balance deadlines and quality, ensuring the team delivers reliable solutions. Collaboration & Communication Communicate technical decisions, risks, and updates clearly to stakeholders. Support cross-functional initiatives such as architecture reviews, cloud migration, and DevOps adoption. Work closely with QA teams to ensure robust testing and quality assurance Desired Candidate Profile Proven experience leading web development teams in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms). Strong understanding of architectural patterns, security, and performance optimization. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
