WMS Solution Consultant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role We are looking for an experienced WMSSolution Consultant with strong expertise in Warehouse Management Systems andcustomer-facing experience. The ideal candidate should have worked inSaaS-based WMS products and possess the ability to understand customer businessprocesses, conduct product demonstrations, provide solution consulting, andsupport pre-sales engagements across logistics and supply chain customers. The role also requires close collaborationwith Product and Business Analysis teams by providing domain guidance, businessprocess inputs, and functional recommendations for continuous WMS productenhancement and development. Key Responsibilities Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand warehouse operations, business challenges, and process requirements. Conduct detailed product demonstrations, workshops, and solution presentations for enterprise customers. Map customer requirements with WMS product capabilities and propose optimized solutions. Work closely with Sales, Product, Business Analysts, and Implementation teams during the pre-sales and solutioning lifecycle. Provide functional guidance and domain expertise to WMS Business Analysts for product development and feature enhancement initiatives. Support Product teams in defining business requirements, operational workflows, and industry best practices for WMS enhancements. Participate in requirement discussions, gap analysis, and product roadmap recommendations. Prepare solution documents, process flows, functional requirement discussions, and proposal responses. Provide domain consulting on warehouse operations including Inbound, outbound, inventory, picking, put-away, replenishment, cycle counting, wave planning, and warehouse automation workflows. Support RFP/RFI responses and customer presentations. Participate in client meetings, business discovery sessions, and solution discussions. Recommend best practices and operational improvements using WMS and logistics technology solutions. Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to project execution. Stay updated on market trends, warehouse automation, supply chain digitization, and SaaS-based logistics technologies. Required Skills Strong experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience in SaaS-based logistics or supply chain products. Excellent customer-facing, consulting, and presentation skills. Expertise in conducting product demos and solution workshops. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes. Ability to guide Business Analysts on functional workflows and product requirements. Experience in solution consulting, pre-sales, functional consulting, or product consulting roles. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. Exposure to integrations, handheld/RF devices, barcode systems, automation, ASRS, or warehouse robotics will be an added advantage. Preferred Background Experience working with WMS SaaS product companies. Prior experience in Logistics, 3PL, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, Distribution, or E-commerce warehousing domain. Exposure to enterprise customer engagements and global implementations preferred. Education Bachelor s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or related field. MBA/Supply Chain certifications will be an added advantage. Desired Candidate Profile Strong experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
