Workshop Supervisor / Foreman

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Summary Shurooq Al Salam Passenger Transport Via Rented Buses LLC OPC is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor / Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our vehicle maintenance workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workshop staff, planning maintenance activities, ensuring quality repairs, and maximizing vehicle availability while maintaining high safety standards. Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations. Allocate repair and maintenance jobs to technicians and mechanics. Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality standards. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues on commercial vehicles. Maintain workshop productivity and ensure timely completion of repairs. Coordinate with the Operations Department regarding vehicle availability. Monitor spare parts requirements and coordinate with the procurement/store department. Ensure proper documentation of job cards, maintenance records, and service reports. Maintain workshop cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations. Guide and train technicians to improve productivity and workmanship. Ensure company procedures and manufacturer standards are followed. Handle emergency breakdowns and prioritize critical vehicle repairs. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Foreman, or Senior Mechanic. UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel and petrol commercial vehicles. Experience with buses, minibuses, vans, pickups, and light commercial vehicles. Ability to read repair manuals and technical documentation. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Good computer knowledge and experience with workshop management systems is an advantage. UAE Driving License is preferred.
