Accountant - Accounts Receivable

Record and reconcile customer payments in the accounting system. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. Follow up with customers on overdue payments via phone, email, and written communication. Prepare and maintain accurate Accounts Receivable aging reports. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies promptly. Coordinate with the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve payment-related issues. Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and payment history. Process credit notes, debit notes, and customer refunds as required. Prepare monthly receivable reports and collection status for management review. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. Perform any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field 5-7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role. 2-3 years of experience in the UAE is preferred. Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage. Knowledge of VAT regulations is an advantage. Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
