Accountant - Rent a Car

Manage the accounts receivable and payable specifically for vehicle rentals, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing. Reconcile daily rental income against fleet utilization and booking data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Prepare and analyze financial reports related to fleet depreciation, maintenance costs, and revenue per vehicle. Oversee the accurate accounting of vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and related financing or leasing arrangements. Knowledge of Salik (Dubai road toll system) and Darb (Abu Dhabi road toll system) Salik and Darb account reconciliation Toll charges monitoring and tracking Vehicle-wise toll expense allocation Salik/Darb statements verification Traffic fines and penalties reconciliation

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the automotive or rental industry. Proficiency in accounting software/ ERP Software and advanced Excel skills. Good Knoweldge of UAE Vat regulation Employment Type Full-time
