Accountant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Responsibilities: - Maintain and update accounting records and general ledger. Prepare journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Process payroll and employee reimbursements, if required. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable tax regulations. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data confidentiality. Desired Candidate Profile Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. 1–3 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
