Accountant

We are looking for an accountant to join our team. Job

Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting Operations: Record and post all accounting transactions accurately and on time, including purchases, sales, payments, and receipts
• Ensure all entries are properly documented and recorded in the accounting system
• Maintain accurate financial records and support the preparation of financial reports
• Verify transaction details and reconcile discrepancies when necessary
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer accounts
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Prepare reconciliation reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Follow up on customer payments to ensure timely collections and maintain healthy cash flow
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) aging reports
• Assist in processing supplier payments and monitoring outstanding balances
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve payment issues, discrepancies, and account-related inquiries
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring all supporting documents are properly filed and easily accessible
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of accounting documentation before processing transactions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax and regulatory requirement

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate profile: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting. Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Navision) and Microsoft Excel.
