Accountant

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records and daily financial transactions. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports. Monitor project costs, budgets, and cost allocations. Support payroll processing and tax-related documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Coordinate with procurement and project teams on financial matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2 3 years of relevant accounting experience. Previous experience in construction or contracting companies is an advantage. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Good command of English (written and spoken). Willingness to relocate and work in Baghdad, Iraq.
