ACCOUNTANT

Prepare and post journal entries for all financial transactions. Costing for foreign and local purchases. Examine documents to ensure their accuracy. Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported. Develop and maintain internal control systems. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including purchases, sales, and stock adjustments. Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger transactions and reconciliations. Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Assist in preparing tax returns. Work closely with other departments to ensure financial accuracy. Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading or manufacturing company. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management. Knowledge of foreign and local purchase costing, inventory accounting, and stock reconciliation. Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations, corporate tax, and applicable financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in MS Excel and Orion ERP. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Employment Type Full-time
