Accountant

Role We re hiring an Accountant to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company stay fully aware of its daily financial situation. What You'll Do 1. Internal Accounting Issues clients invoices monthly Issues clients receipts Follows up on collections Posts and journals entries related to clients to ensure all business transactions are recorded 2. Accounting Operations Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in accounting entries, documents, and reports to ensure accurate financial data Manages the Accounts Receivable cycle to ensure timely collections Manages the Accounts Payable cycle and ensures that payments are issued accurately and on time, according to approved treasury reports and funds availability in the various bank accounts 3. Third-Party Relationship Management Develops new sources of revenue Develops and maintains good customer relationships and responds to their requirements efficiently and effectively Maintains healthy relationships with all suppliers 4. Reporting Performs daily, monthly, and year-end closing while respecting deadlines Prepares analyses and reports on time to support the CSO in preparing reports 5. Archiving Ensures proper archiving and maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents, both hard copies and electronic copies 6. Team Training and Development Ensures our values are lived by leading by example and monitoring the behaviour of the team Develops and trains the Accounting team Requirements Bachelor s or technical degree in Accounting 3 years of experience in accounting Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must Excellent communication and organizational skills Detail-oriented Knowledge of e-commerce logistics is a plus
