Accounting Technology Specialist (Odoo)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for a finance professional with strong hands-on Odoo experience who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and building efficient finance systems. This role goes beyond traditional accounting and focuses on leveraging technology to optimize accounting operations across the group. The successful candidate will take ownership of Odoo-related initiatives, process improvements, automation projects, and future system implementations across the group. Responsibilities Take ownership of the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of Odoo Accounting and related finance modules. Analyze existing finance and accounting processes and recommend practical and scalable improvements. Design and implement automated workflows and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency. Troubleshoot finance systems issues and provide practical solutions to end users. Develop and maintain finance-related reports, workflows, and internal controls within Odoo. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure finance processes are accurately reflected and optimized within the system. Work closely with management to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements. Support future Odoo implementations, upgrades, integrations, and finance systems projects across the group. Provide training and support to users on finance-related Odoo modules and best practices. Desired Candidate Profile Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant accounting, finance systems, or ERP experience. Strong hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting is required. Experience in Odoo implementation, configuration, customization, or process improvement is highly preferred. Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience in finance process automation and systems implementation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
