Architectural Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate project execution. Supervise architectural works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, project specifications, and building codes. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve design and construction issues. Prepare, review, and update shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor the progress of architectural works, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure timely completion in accordance with project schedules. Inspect architectural finishes, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements. Identify and resolve discrepancies between design drawings, specifications, and site conditions, providing practical engineering solutions. Coordinate material approvals, mock-ups, and inspections to ensure the use of approved materials and proper installation methods. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and maintain proper project documentation, including site reports and inspection records. Assist in project handover, snagging, and final inspections to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction. Desired Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3–5+ years of professional experience as an Architectural Engineer, preferably in building construction or fit-out projects. Proven experience in architectural site supervision, project coordination, and construction execution. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and Microsoft Office applications. Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, shop drawings, construction methods, building materials, and finishing works. Familiarity with local building codes, construction standards, and QA/QC procedures. Experience in coordinating with architects, structural and MEP engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
