Civil Site Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities 1. 1. Site Supervision & Construction Execution Site Supervision: Supervise daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Quality Control: Inspect construction works, monitor workmanship, and ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications. Progress Monitoring: Monitor daily site progress, prepare progress reports, and coordinate with the project team to achieve project milestones. Site Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project managers to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution. 2. Drawing Interpretation & Site Inspection Drawing Interpretation: Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure accurate implementation on site. Site Layout & Inspection: Assist with site setting out, verify dimensions and levels, and inspect completed works for compliance with design requirements. Issue Identification: Identify discrepancies between drawings, specifications, and site conditions, and report them for timely resolution. Material Inspection: Verify construction materials and ensure they meet project specifications and quality requirements before installation. 3. Project Coordination & Safety Compliance Resource Management: Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to support efficient construction activities. Project Documentation: Maintain daily site reports, inspection records, work progress reports, and other project documentation. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety regulations, and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Project Completion: Assist in inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure successful project completion. Desired Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience: 3–5+ years of proven experience as a Civil Site Engineer. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and interpreting engineering and construction drawings. Strong knowledge of site supervision, RCC works, structural works, finishing works, and construction methods. Experience in quality control (QA/QC), site inspections, and project execution. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is an advantage. Familiarity with construction standards, building codes, and HSE regulations. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
