Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team at Noor Safety Consultants LLC in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, good numerical and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while supporting daily accounting operations. Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare payment vouchers and support monthly payroll processing. Maintain petty cash records and prepare expense reports. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities. Support VAT documentation, calculations, and financial reporting. Maintain organized accounting files and financial documentation. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors regarding finance-related matters. Ensure accounting records are accurate and properly maintained. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 1 -2 years of experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar accounting role. Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with VAT documentation and accounting software is an advantage. Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills. Candidates with experience in a company’s finance or accounting department are preferred. Cashier-only experience or experience limited to retail shops will not be considered Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred. Female candidates are preferred.
