Backend Developer (Networking)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Role: Backend Software Engineer (Go / Rust / Java) Job Overview We are looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems. You will work on distributed microservices, networking technologies, and cloud-native infrastructure while building secure, reliable, and performant applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (preferred), Rust , or Java . Build and maintain scalable, distributed microservices architectures. Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes . Implement secure networking solutions, including VPN technologies (IPsec) . Work with Linux systems and low-level network programming. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and gRPC services. Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2 , JWT , and mutual TLS (mTLS) . Configure and support networking protocols, including OSPF . Integrate and maintain SNMP -based monitoring and management solutions. Optimize application performance, scalability, and resource utilization. Write efficient concurrent and multithreaded code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable software solutions. Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system reliability. Desired Candidate Profile Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Strong backend development experience in Go (preferred), Rust , or Java . Experience building distributed systems and microservices. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes . Strong understanding of Linux internals and network programming. Experience with REST APIs and gRPC . Knowledge of OAuth2 , JWT , and mTLS for secure authentication and communication. Experience with VPN technologies (IPsec) . Understanding of routing protocols , particularly OSPF . Experience integrating or managing SNMP . Strong understanding of concurrent programming, multithreading, and performance optimization. Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-native architectures and container orchestration. Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools. Experience building high-availability and fault-tolerant systems. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. Experience working in Agile development environments.
