BI Front-end developer

Your primary mission is to build world-class dashboards in Power BI. While the core data architecture is handled by our back-end team, you will be expected to perform "light" back-end adjustments—such as modifying SQL views or updating existing SSIS mappings—to ensure your front-end visualizations remain accurate and performant.Key Responsibilities1. Lead Visualization & DesignTransform complex datasets into intuitive, high-fidelity dashboards using Power BI, Tableau.Ensure a consistent "Look and Feel" across all reporting platforms, focusing on user-centric design (UI/UX).Create advanced calculations and measures (DAX for Power BI, Calculated Fields for Tableau)2. Tactical Back-End Support (Modifications)SQL Adjustments: Modify existing SQL Views to add new columns or filter logic for reports.Model Maintenance: Perform minor updates to existing data models in Power BI and SSAS (e.g., updating relationships or renaming fields).ETL Tweaks: Open and perform basic modifications to SSIS packages (e.g., updating a file path or changing a mapping) without building new packages from scratch.3. Data BridgingMap front-end requirements to available back-end data structures and identify gaps.Use Excel for rapid prototyping of data models before finalizing them in the BI tools.
