Civil Planning Engineer (Buildings)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Civil Planning Engineer (Buildings) to join our project team. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for building construction projects to ensure timely project completion. Prepare project schedules, baseline programs, and work breakdown structures (WBS) for building projects. Develop and monitor project plans using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. Track project progress and update schedules regularly. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Identify project delays and recommend corrective actions. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients. Monitor resource allocation and productivity. Conduct delay analysis and recovery planning when required. Ensure compliance with project timelines and contractual requirements. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. 8–15 years of experience in planning and scheduling of building construction projects. Strong knowledge of project planning tools and scheduling techniques. Proficiency in Primavera P6 / MS Project. Good analytical and reporting skills. Experience working with contractors or construction companies is preferred. GCC experience will be an advantage.
