Civil Procurement Engineer

Coordinate and manage the procurement process for civil engineering materials, equipment, and services in alignment with project requirements and timelines.Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability to ensure optimal sourcing decisions.Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable agreements and maintain strong supplier relationships.Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to forecast material needs and ensure timely delivery to project sites.Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records.Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities relevant to civil engineering projects.Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.Assist in resolving procurement-related issues, such as delivery delays, quality concerns, or invoice discrepancies.Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing procurement processes and recommending enhancements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
