Civil Work Supervisor

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that all activities align with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring compliance with regulations. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, fostering strong working relationships. Monitor and evaluate the progress of construction activities, providing feedback and guidance to the workforce to enhance productivity. Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project progress, including daily logs, site meetings, and any issues that arise. Assist in the development of project plans and schedules, contributing insights from on-the-ground observations to improve efficiency. Manage the allocation and use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to minimize waste and optimize performance. Desired Candidate Profile Relevant certifications such as PMP, NEBOSH, or OSHA, showcasing a commitment to safety and project management excellence. Experience with advanced construction software and tools, enabling efficient project tracking and reporting. Proficiency in English and preferably a second language, enhancing communication with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong technical skills in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications, facilitating accurate project execution. Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and guide teams, ensuring high levels of performance and morale on-site. Strong problem-solving skills, allowing for quick decisions in high-pressure situations to keep projects on track. Physical fitness to perform site inspections and manage on-ground activities, ensuring personal safety and the safety of others.
