COST CONTROL ENGINEER

Monitor project budgets, actual costs, commitments and forecast final costs. Prepare regular cost reports, budget variance analysis and cost-to-complete forecasts. Track project expenditure, material costs, subcontractor payments and purchase commitments. Monitor and control project manpower costs by tracking workforce deployment, labour utilization and productivity against approved manpower plans and budgets. Identify manpower variances and highlight their cost implications to the project management team. Identify cost overruns and potential budget risks and recommend corrective actions. Monitor variations and change orders and assess their impact on project costs. Coordinate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost information. Maintain cost records and provide regular updates to management on project financial performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience in high-rise and mid-rise building construction projects. Minimum 4 years of UAE construction industry experience in a relevant cost control role. Good knowledge of project budgeting, cost reporting, forecasting and variance analysis. Understanding of manpower planning, labour cost monitoring and productivity tracking. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERP or project cost-control systems is an advantage. Employment Type Full-time
