Customer Service Executive-Freight Forwarding

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Shipment Coordination — Manage the full cycle of import/export shipments including booking, routing, tracking, and delivery. Customer Communication — Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring service satisfaction. Documentation Handling — Prepare and verify all required documents such as BL, DO, BOE, invoices, packing lists, certificates, and customs forms. Carrier & Vendor Coordination — Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and port operators for vessel schedules, DO collection, container movements, and delivery arrangements. Operational Execution — Oversee cargo handling, yard operations, container release, and delivery timelines to ensure smooth workflow. Issue Resolution — Address delays, discrepancies, damages, and operational challenges with proactive escalation and corrective actions. Cost & Billing Support — Coordinate duty payments, port charges, detention/demurrage monitoring, and ensure timely billing and cost control. System Updates — Maintain accurate shipment records, status updates, and operational logs in internal systems. Performance Reporting — Prepare daily/weekly operational reports, delay analysis, and customer service performance summaries.
