Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust enterprise data architectures, leading integration initiatives, and ensuring best practices in data modelling, ETL, API development, and governance across cloud platforms. Responsibilities: Design and maintain enterprise data architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices Develop and optimize logical and physical data models to support business requirements Lead integration efforts using ETL frameworks and API-based solutions Architect scalable data solutions on Azure and AWS cloud platforms Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and application teams to translate requirements into technical designs Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering and development teams Evaluate and recommend emerging data technologies, tools, and frameworks Monitor and optimize performance of data pipelines and storage solutions Position Details Position Title: Data Architect Location: RAK, United Arab Emirates Industry: Information Technology (IT) / Software Experience Required: 10+ years' Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 10 18 years of experience in data architecture or related roles Proven expertise in enterprise data architecture design and implementation Strong proficiency in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques Demonstrated skills in API design and integration Extensive experience with Azure and AWS data services Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality processes Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities Fluency in English Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Experience with big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) and data catalog tools TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certification Prior experience in GCC markets, ideally within Ras Al Khaimah or the UAE Exposure to real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Data Architect Get real-time job updates only on our App
