Data Scientist

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Description In this role, you will collaborate closely with our stakeholders, the IoT product management team, development teams, and other data scientists to define new products, services, and tools using data and machine learning. As a team member, you will work on developing data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract meaningful insights from large and complex datasets. You will also be responsible for supporting the teams with operational data-related tasks. Responsibilities Design, develop and deploy data-driven solutions to address a variety of business problems (predictive maintenance, equipment lifecycle analysis, etc.) Understanding the requirements of product managers and providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Working on the development of data models, algorithms and statistical analyses to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. Design and implement data pipelines and data warehouses to support data analysis and reporting needs. Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights and discoveries to stakeholders. Mentor and coach developers on best practices in data analysis, modeling and visualization. Keeping up to date with the latest advances in data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, and applying them to solve business problems. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications At least 7 years of experience in a similar role At least 3 years of experience in a similar role Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or Hive (experience with Databricks is a big plus). Experience with cloud technologies (ideally Microsoft Azure).
