Design And Estimation Engineer

Design HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, piping layouts, and equipment schedules. Select suitable HVAC equipment, including AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, ducted units, and ventilation systems. Prepare duct sizing and ventilation calculations. Review drawings, specifications, and BOQ to ensure compliance with project requirements. Prepare detailed HVAC cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and BOQ. Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, insulation, accessories, and installation materials. Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for equipment and materials. Calculate material costs, labor costs, installation charges, and other project expenses. Prepare cost sheets, pricing schedules, and commercial quotations. Identify exclusions, deviations, and potential commercial risks. Prepare comparison sheets for supplier and subcontractor quotations. Follow up on submitted quotations and respond to client queries. Desired Candidate Profile 3-4 years' experience in HVAC design, estimation, costing, and tendering. Knowledge of HVAC equipment selection and system design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel. Employment Type Full-time
