DevOps Engineer

What you'll be doing We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure and platform reliability. In this role you will sit at the intersection of software development, delivery and system administration, ensuring our digital commerce applications are performant, resilient, and most importantly, observable. You will design proactive alerting and monitoring frameworks, manage cloud environments across AWS and GCP, and partner closely with engineering and product teams to streamline deployments and incident response.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 4 6 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration role. Hands-on experience with the Magento (Adobe Commerce) technology stack (monolith and/or headless), including familiarity with its codebase, deployment workflows, and infrastructure requirements. Strong understanding of Magento s database layer (MySQL/MariaDB) with experience in DB monitoring, query optimisation, indexing strategies, and performance tuning to ensure platform stability under high-traffic conditions. Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53) and/or GCP equivalents. Proven experience supporting digital commerce / e-commerce applications in production. Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Experience setting up end-to-end monitoring and proactive alerting frameworks Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, CDN, VPN, firewalls). Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS). Leveraging AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate infrastructure-as-code development, script writing, and troubleshooting. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
