ELV - Pre Sales Design Engineer

Review RFQs, tender specifications, drawings, and technicians’ site survey reports. Prepare technical designs, detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and proposals for CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, and Fiber Connectivity. Calculate accurate installation and commissioning effort, including man-days, team composition, tools, and subcontractor requirements. Coordinate with vendors and the procurement team to identify reliable sources and obtain competitive pricing. Provide remote technical support to technicians and subcontractors during project delivery. Escalate complex technical issues to manufacturers and coordinate resolution

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or a related discipline. Strong experience in ELV pre-sales, BOQ preparation, solution design, and project estimation. Practical expertise in CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fiber Connectivity, and supporting IP networks. Proficiency in Excel and reading technical drawings; AutoCAD knowledge preferred. Strong communication, vendor negotiation, and remote troubleshooting skills. GCC project experience advantageous; willingness to relocate to Oman when required. Employment Type Full-time
