ELV Engineer
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Design, install, configure, test, commission, and maintain ELV systems. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support Access Control Systems, Turnstile, Speed Gate, Gate Barrier Systems, CCTV Systems, Structured Cabling Systems, Wi-Fi & Network Infrastructure, IP Telephone Systems. Configure and troubleshoot software for ELV and security systems. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related faults. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports. Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings. Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams. Perform system testing, commissioning, and project handover. Provide end-user training on system operation, software, and basic troubleshooting. Prepare operation manuals and user documentation when required. Lead, supervise, and guide ELV technicians and subcontractors on-site. Plan daily site activities, assign tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards. Ensure installations comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and company standards. Desired Candidate Profile 4-6 years of UAE experience as an ELV Engineer. Strong IT background with good knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking, and IP-based systems. Good knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Video Intercom, Tunstile, Gate Barrier, Structured Cabling, Wi-Fi, and ELV systems. Basic knowledge of Fiber Optic Splicing, Termination, and Testing. Proficient in AutoCAD. Good knowledge of IP networking, including switches, routers, VLANs, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting. Knowledge of SIRA regulations, standards, and CCTV compliance requirements. Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting ELV software and client applications. Ability to independently diagnose and resolve system faults. Experience conducting end-user training and explaining system operation to clients. Capable of leading a team, supervising technicians, managing site activities, and coordinating with clients and consultants. Strong communication, leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Valid UAE Driving License is a must.
