ELV Engineer
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Design and develop ELV systems including CCTV, access control, and public address systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and integrate ELV systems seamlessly into existing infrastructure. Collaborate with architects and other engineers to create detailed plans and specifications for ELV installations. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems, ensuring functionality and adherence to project timelines. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of ELV systems, providing timely resolutions to technical issues. Prepare and manage project documentation, including design reports, installation guides, and maintenance manuals. Conduct training sessions for end-users and maintenance personnel on the operational aspects of installed systems. Stay updated on the latest ELV technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions to clients. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure equipment and materials necessary for project execution. Assist in budget estimation and cost control for ELV projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field, ensuring a solid technical foundation. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in ELV systems design and implementation within the construction or engineering sector. Proven experience in project management, showcasing the ability to lead projects from conception to completion. Strong understanding of local and international codes, standards, and regulations relevant to ELV systems. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for effective communication in diverse environments. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a client-focused attitude. Physical capability to conduct on-site inspections and manage equipment, ensuring hands-on involvement in project execution.
