Executive-Facility Engineer
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Roles and responsibilities of a Facility Engineer Operations & Maintenance Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all building systems, including: HVAC systems Electrical systems Plumbing and drainage systems Fire Alarm (FA) and Fire Fighting (FF) systems Elevators and escalators Building Management System (BMS) UPS and emergency power systems Monitor facility performance and ensure equipment reliability and availability. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Conduct routine inspections and audits of facility assets. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, HSE standards, and statutory requirements. Coordinate inspections, certifications, and renewals for facility equipment and systems. Conduct risk assessments and ensure implementation of corrective actions. Support emergency preparedness and business continuity plans. Vendor & Contractor Management Supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance teams. Review service reports and ensure contractual KPIs and SLAs are achieved. Evaluate contractor performance and recommend improvements. Verify completion of work and approve invoices and service reports. Project Management Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades. Prepare technical specifications, scope of work, and cost estimates. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor project progress and quality standards. Asset Management Maintain accurate records of facility assets and maintenance history. Support asset lifecycle planning, replacement strategies, and budgeting. Track equipment warranties and service contracts. Documentation & Reporting Prepare maintenance reports, technical evaluations, performance analyses, comparison of Adhoc jobs, BOQ preparedness & evolution. Maintain engineering drawings, manuals, permits, and compliance records. Generate monthly operational and KPI reports for management review.
