Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: 1. Fleet Operations Management: Supervise daily dispatch and recovery operations, ensuring timely, efficient, and safe roadside assistance services. Monitor and maintain fleet vehicles, overseeing regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs in accordance with industry standards. Implement best practices in fleet utilization, fuel management, and cost control. 2. Team Leadership and HR Compliance: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of recovery drivers, ensuring all HR policies, performance metrics, and compliance standards are upheld. Collaborate with HR to align staffing needs, professional development initiatives, and performance review criteria. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and customer service excellence. 3. Contract Acquisition and Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new contracts and partnership opportunities to expand the recovery service client base. Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, roadside assistance networks, corporate fleets, and other key stakeholders. Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making and pricing models. 4. Financial and Budget Oversight: Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness while meeting service quality standards. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet operations and contract acquisitions, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications and Skills: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Extensive experience (5+ years) in fleet management, logistics, or automotive recovery services preferred. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, and standard maintenance protocols. Leadership Abilities: Strong team management, communication, and decision-making skills. Experience leading diverse operational teams is a plus. Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in developing new business and managing vendor or client relationships. Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and HR compliance requirements.
