HSE Officer (Manufacturing)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Title: HSE Officer (Manufacturing) Location: Al Ain City, UAE Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer (Manufacturing) to ensure a safe working environment across factory operations while maintaining compliance with HSE standards, UAE regulations, Civil Defense requirements, and company policies. The role will also include responsibility for labour camp safety, welfare, general facility management, and support for audit requirements. Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs within the manufacturing facility. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety training. Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, Civil Défense requirements, and company safety standards. Coordinate and support HSE, Civil Défense, ISO, and other regulatory audits; ensure proper documentation and closure of findings. Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Monitor PPE usage, safe work practices, emergency preparedness, and fire safety systems. Manage labour camp safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and welfare standards. Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and support teams to improve workplace safety. Support general facility and camp management activities as required. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or factory environments. Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, Civil defence requirements, ISO standards, and labour accommodation guidelines.
