HSE Officer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies across interior fit-out and construction projects. Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards. Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and client safety requirements. Prepare and maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, incident reports, and risk assessments. Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for site personnel. Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions. Monitor the proper use of PPE and ensure compliance with safe work practices. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment. Carry out regular audits and ensure timely closure of safety observations. Support emergency response planning and participate in emergency drills. Maintain HSE records and prepare periodic safety reports for management. Desired Candidate Profile Desired Candidate Profile Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as an HSE Officer in Interior Fit-Out or Construction projects. Interior Fit-Out or Construction experience is mandatory. NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory. Additional HSE certifications will be an advantage. Sound knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and incident investigation. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and site inspections independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation. Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
