IT Administrator

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage and maintain servers (Windows/Linux), virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core network services Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs Implement and maintain security best practices, including patch management, endpoint protection, and access controls Design, implement, and test backup and disaster recovery procedures Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues before they impact users Lead or contribute to IT projects such as system migrations, upgrades, and new technology rollouts Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident response Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in IT administration or systems administration Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux server administration Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python) Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Employment Type Full-time Company Industry General TradingExportImport Department / Functional Area IT Hardware SupportIT Hardware Repair & Maintenance Keywords LinuxSystem AdministrationNetworking & SecurityBackup & Disaster RecoveryCloud Infrastructure ManagementFirewallVpn Get real-time job updates only on our App
