Land Surveyor

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Conduct topographic, layout, and level surveys for all stages of the construction project. Establish site control points, benchmarks, and reference lines as per project requirements. Set out coordinates, levels, and alignment for structural, architectural, and infrastructure works. Verify dimensions, elevations, and alignment to ensure compliance with approved drawings. Operate, calibrate, and maintain surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS, theodolites, auto-levels, and laser levels. Ensure all surveying equipment is in proper working condition and perform routine checks. Coordinate with site engineers, construction supervisors, and subcontractors for survey-related activities. Assist in resolving any discrepancies or design issues related to levels, alignments, and coordinates. Communicate survey results clearly to site teams for implementation. Record survey data and maintain detailed field notes and reports. Prepare and submit daily and weekly survey reports and as-built data. Ensure that all surveying work is completed to required tolerances and meets quality standards. Ensure all survey data and documentation are archived for project close-out and future reference. Maintain professionalism and discipline in fieldwork. Adhere to safety practices and quality control standards at all times. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or Land Surveying. Strong knowledge of surveying principles, construction methods, and coordinate systems. Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering accurate work. Works proactively with the team and takes initiative to solve survey-related challenges.
