Maintenance Technician

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities To carry out field-based mechanical maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment such as pumps and related systems, ensuring safe operation, proper functioning, and timely completion of service assignments. Perform field service activities including installation, dismantling, and assembly of mechanical equipment. Carry out maintenance and repair of pumps, pipelines, valves, and related systems.Use hand tools, chain wrenches, and mechanical equipment for service work. Troubleshoot and support resolution of mechanical system issues at site locations. Assist with drilling and other site-related mechanical operations when required. Transport, handle, and manage tools, equipment, and materials at work sites. Work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. Ensure proper functioning of equipment after maintenance or repair. Follow technical instructions, safety procedures, and maintenance standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas. Complete assigned field tasks safely, efficiently, and within timelines. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 3 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, field service, or equipment installation. Experience using hand tools, chain wrenches, and mechanical service equipment. Knowledge of pumps, pipelines, valves, and water-related mechanical systems. Ability to understand basic technical drawings and maintenance instructions. Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred). Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor and field-based mechanical work.
