Mendix Support Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Support Mendix application users by receiving, investigating, and resolving issues and service requests, ensuring consistent progress updates. Take ownership of incident resolution, ensuring quick recovery and minimal disruption to Mendix applications and platform services. Investigate logs, runtime data, and server configurations to identify and resolve performance issues, integration errors, or system failures. Analyze Mendix application functionality to identify improvements, optimizations, and potential risks. Ensure effective front-end and back-end functionality and data flow across Mendix applications. Provide software application support in coordination with senior engineers, developers, and platform administrators. Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions. Address and resolve identified security vulnerabilities, following organizational and Mendix platform security best practices. Manage code migration, deployments, and version control across environments to maintain synchronization and stability. Perform unit and integration testing to validate bug fixes, enhancements, and releases. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal application performance and reliability. Monitor application and environment performance through the relevant monitoring tools, proactively addressing anomalies. Maintain accurate and detailed records of configuration changes, deployments, and scheduled maintenance activities. Manage and review user access requests to ensure compliance with security and governance standards. Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and issue resolution procedures. Maintain up-to-date notes within the support ticketing system, ensuring transparency and accountability. Guide users through diagnostic procedures to determine issue sources and provide effective solutions. Prepare regular reports on support activities, incidents, trends, and corrective measures. Participate in continuous improvement and platform enhancement initiatives, including environment optimization and automation. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum: ▪ 4+ years proven IT experience performing hands-on software development roles.
