MEP & Rail Systems Construction Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities An international rail project is seeking an experienced MEP & Rail Systems Construction Manager to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical, and railway systems on a large scale urban transit project. The role is site based in Egypt and requires immediate availability or short notice. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP and railway systems across the project. Manage system interfaces and coordinate between multiple contractors and stakeholders. Oversee systems including (but not limited to): Power supply and distribution (LV & HV) Ventilation and fire protection systems Rolling Stock interfaces SCADA systems Train operation and supervision systems Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) Ensure works are delivered in line with project specifications, safety standards, and programme requirements. Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities through to project completion. Act as the primary technical authority on site for MEP and rail systems matters. Desired Candidate Profile Degree qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer . Extensive experience in Metro, Transit, or Monorail projects , ideally on international assignments. Proven background in supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP and railway systems. Strong experience coordinating multidisciplinary system interfaces. Previous experience in a similar role on large scale rail or transit projects is essential. Monorail experience is highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast paced, site based environment with tight delivery timelines.
