Network & Infrastructure Administrator
Job Overview
Support the deployment and execution of authorized infrastructure discovery, inventory, assessment, and diagnostic tools and scripts. Diagnose low or incomplete discovery coverage across servers, endpoints, network segments, cloud environments, and remote locations. Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving routing, switching, DNS, firewalls, proxies, VPNs, network segmentation, ports, protocols, and access control rules. Investigate server administration issues affecting remote access, authentication, service availability, and data collection. Assess the impact of security controls, hardening standards, endpoint protection, privileged-access policies, and organizational restrictions on authorized discovery activities. Work with network, server, cloud, security, identity, and application teams to identify root causes and coordinate remediation. Validate credentials, permissions, service accounts, remote-management protocols, and other technical prerequisites required for approved administrative activities. Recommend practical solutions to improve infrastructure visibility while complying with cybersecurity policies and change-management processes. Prepare technical findings, remediation plans, configuration guidance, and progress reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Track identified issues through resolution and verify improvements through follow-up testing. Maintain clear documentation of network dependencies, access requirements, exceptions, risks, and unresolved constraints. Support broader initiatives involving asset management, infrastructure audits, operational readiness, technology governance, and software compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft, CompTIA Network+, ITIL, or equivalent. Experience with infrastructure or asset-discovery platforms, configuration-management tools, monitoring systems, or software asset-management solutions. Knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure or AWS networking and identity concepts. Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Experience supporting audits, compliance assessments, IT asset management, or technology-governance programs. Understanding of software inventory and licensing concepts, particularly within Microsoft environments. Employment Type Full-time
