Review, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and commercial agreements. Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, commitments, and financial performance. Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, valuations, payment applications, and final accounts. Manage variations, change orders, extensions of time, claims, and commercial settlements. Review contractor and subcontractor payment applications and certify quantities and values in coordination with project teams. Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and identify potential cost overruns. Lead commercial negotiations with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders. Identify contractual and commercial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, procurement procedures, and company commercial policies. Review tender documents, commercial proposals, and bid evaluations and provide recommendations. Support procurement teams in evaluating commercial aspects of tenders and supplier/subcontractor negotiations. Prepare regular commercial reports, forecasts, cost reports, and management dashboards. Maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, claims, payments, and commercial correspondence. Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, finance, legal, and other departments. Monitor market conditions, construction costs, and pricing trends to support commercial decision-making. Assist in resolving contractual disputes and support negotiations with project stakeholders. Ensure timely closure of accounts and completion of commercial requirements at project handover. Provide commercial guidance and mentorship to quantity surveyors and junior commercial team members.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Commercial Management or related field. 10+ years relevant commercial/QS experience within construction, manufacturing or related industries. Strong commercial management, cost management and contract administration experience. UAE/GCC experience preferred. Employment Type Full-time
