Procurement Engineer

Civil & Architectural Scope Job Purpose To support the Procurement Department in fit-out projects by reviewing drawings, BOQs, and specifications, preparing quantity take-offs, checking project requirements, obtaining quotations, and ensuring materials and subcontract works are procured correctly, technically, and within budget. Main Responsibilities Review architectural, civil, and fit-out drawings, BOQs, and specifications. Prepare quantity take-offs for fit-out materials and works. Highlight additional, omitted, remeasured, or variation items before procurement. Prepare RFQs and send inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors. Obtain and compare quotations technically and commercially. Check material specifications, brands, sizes, quantities, and compliance with project requirements. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QS, and Tendering teams. Assist in supplier negotiation and cost-saving activities. Ensure procurement requests are supported by proper drawings, quantities, and approvals before ordering. Required Qualifications 2 4 years of relevant experience in fit-out, interior contracting, or construction procurement. Good knowledge of fit-out materials including tiles, gypsum, ceilings, flooring, joinery, metal works, paint, glass, and finishing materials. Strong ability to read drawings and prepare quantity take-offs. Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel. Good communication and negotiation skills.
