Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards.Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules, and manage contractual agreements.Cost Optimization: Conduct thorough cost analyses and implement strategies to achieve significant cost savings without compromising quality or project timelines.Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of the supply chain process.Quality Assurance: Monitor supplier performance and material quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, new technologies, and material innovations to inform procurement strategies.Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.Skills & Technologies: This role demands a strong foundation in Engineering principles, coupled with practical experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management. You will utilize your skills in Vendor Management, Negotiation, Cost Analysis, and Contract Management. Familiarity with Logistics, Quality Control, and Technical Specification Review, especially concerning Construction Materials, will be key to your success.
