Project Engineer – Civil

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Civil to manage and oversee the execution of landscape, swimming pool, and water feature projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Plan, supervise, and execute landscape, swimming pool, and water feature construction works. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents. Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progresses as per the approved schedule. Manage site resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment. Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during project execution. Coordinate material procurement and monitor delivery schedules. Verify contractor and subcontractor work, measurements, and billing. Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates. Ensure timely project handover and close-out documentation. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. 4–8 years of experience in landscape, swimming pool, and water feature construction projects. Hands-on experience in site execution, project coordination, and construction management. Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, hardscape, softscape, swimming pools, water features, irrigation systems, and finishing works. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project (Primavera P6 is an advantage). Good understanding of project planning, quality control, and HSE requirements. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. UAE/GCC experience and a valid UAE driving license are preferred.
