Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Purpose The Project Manager – E-Channel Banking will lead the planning, design, and delivery of e-channel banking products and services. The role is responsible for ensuring that solutions meet business requirements, comply with applicable regulatory standards, and are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The position also provides strategic oversight of the e-channel project portfolio, including stakeholder management, team leadership, governance, risk management, and continuous improvement. Requirements & Analysis Identify and document business needs and user requirements for e-channel banking products and services. Analyze current e-channel systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Develop detailed functional specifications and design solutions to address business requirements. Stakeholder & Change Management Engage with stakeholders across the business to gather feedback and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring their needs are addressed and expectations are met. Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption of new e-channel systems. Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate adoption of e-channel solutions. Project & Portfolio Delivery Oversee implementation of e-channel solutions, including project planning, execution, and monitoring. Manage multiple e-channel projects concurrently, ensuring they are aligned with strategic objectives and delivering value. Develop and execute high-level project strategies for e-channel banking initiatives. Track project performance metrics, analyzing progress and implementing corrective actions as needed. Quality, Risk & Compliance Ensure thorough testing of e-channel systems to validate functionality, performance, and security. Ensure all e-channel solutions comply with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes. Establish and enforce project governance frameworks aligned with organizational and regulatory standards. Leadership, Reporting and Documentation Lead and mentor project managers and project teams, fostering effective execution and professional growth. Manage and approve large-scale project budgets, ensuring financial control and cost efficiency. Maintain documentation on system requirements, processes, and project progress. Provide executive-level reports and presentations on project status, risks, and achievements to senior management. Continuous Improvement Monitor the performance of live e-channel solutions and recommend enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency. Governance Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred). PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred. Experience in stakeholder management at senior/executive levels. Proven experience managing digital/e-channel banking projects (internet banking, mobile banking, ATM/POS, payment gateways, etc.). Strong understanding of banking regulatory and compliance requirements (SAMA regulations, as applicable).
