Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Measure completed works and verify contractor interim payment applications
• Review Bills of Quantities, variations, quotations, and rate build-ups
• Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate quantity records
• Prepare cost estimates, commercial comparisons, and budget updates
• Maintain payment, variation, procurement, and cost-tracking registers
• Support claims assessment, cash-flow forecasting, and final-account preparation
• Coordinate measurements and commercial information with discipline engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Economics
• Minimum 10 years of quantity-surveying experience
• Experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, measurement standards, interim payments, variations, and rate analysis
• Proficiency in Excel and recognised quantity-surveying or cost-management software
• Strong numerical, analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Relevant professional registration or membership is preferred
