Required accountant in logistics

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and receivable specifically for freight, warehousing, and transportation services, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts related to inventory, fixed assets, and accrued expenses within the logistics supply chain. Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to logistics operations and cost control. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations in the transportation sector. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable institution. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years specifically within the logistics or supply chain industry. Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is highly preferred, demonstrating advanced accounting knowledge. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.
