Safety Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Estimate the safety requirements of site and supply to site persons. Execute toolbox meetings, safety training & safety drills. Conduct safety audits. Conduct meetings with client / consultant / in house. Submit weekly / monthly reports / Quarterly EHS MIS reports to client / Contractor. Planning & implementation of core safety requirements along with application of best practices. Looking after the safety, health, environment and fire protection activities for entire Company. Establish safety systems for various operational control methods & ensure 100% preparedness for contingencies. To check & evaluate the effectiveness of action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries. Liaison with various Govt. authorities related to safety aspects, Fatal accidents, legal aspects. Carry out plant safety inspection in order to observe the physical condition of work. Periodic review of safety manuals, procedures, on site emergency plan/SOP/work instruction etc for continued safety. Conduct site audit to ensure compliance. Conduct Accident investigation along with site team to ensure non-repetitive of accident. Prepare risk assessment for all site activities.
